Work and play in Central Otago
The summerfruit industry is centred on the Central Otago region, located between the South Island cities of Dunedin and Queenstown.
Summerfruit refers to all the stone fruits - including cherries, apricots, peaches and nectarines.
This is also a developing region for New Zealand's wine industry, so between the many orchards and vineyards Central Otago offers year-round work opportunities.

The Grape Harvest begins early April thru to May, and we will have work available during this time.
The apple harvest continues in our region until May, however there are only very limited vacancies at this time for apple pickers and packers.
If you are in Central Otago please visit our office between 9am and 4pm to register your name, and we will contact you when we have jobs available. If you are in another region of New Zealand, we suggest you contact us prior to travelling to the Central Otago region for updates on work availability.
