티마루 아오라키 폴리텍->링컨 대학(비지니스 디플로마 후) 가능

티마루에 위치한 아오라키 폴리텍에서 Business Dipolma를 공부를 하면 내년부터는

크라이스트처치의 링컨 대학교의 bachelor of commerce degree 2학년으로 들어갈수 있도록 아오라키 폴리텍과 링컨 대학교가 업무 협정을 맺었다고 합니다.

아오라키 폴리텍의 Credit이 링컨대학교의 Commerce로 바로 이전이 되어서 학위를 링컨대학교에서 마칠수 있게 되었습니다. 현재 아오라키 폴리텍에는 137명의 학생(인터네셔널 9명포함)이 있는데, 내년에 시작하는 프로그램에 얼마나 많은 수의 학생들이 참여할지는 모르지만, 많은 수의 학생들이 관심을 가지고 있다고 합니다.

Business graduates of Aoraki Polytechnic will have an open door to Lincoln University's bachelor of commerce degree, thanks to a new deal signed by the two institutions.

Aoraki Polytechnic and Lincoln University have signed a memorandum of understanding, in which the two tertiary education providers will work together to bring university-level study into the region.

From next year, graduates of the New Zealand diploma in business will be able to gain direct entry and credit towards the second year of Lincoln University's bachelor of commerce degree.

There are 137 students, including nine international students, enrolled in 352 papers of the business diploma at Aoraki this year.

Head of faculty Lisa Baillie said it was too early to tell how many students would take up the opportunity next year but there had been "some great interest" at the polytechnic's recent open day.

Lincoln University vice-chancellor Roger Field said both the university and Aoraki believed a highly skilled and qualified workforce would help build a stronger economy, especially in South Canterbury.

Tony Brien, senior lecturer in business management in Lincoln University's Faculty of Commerce, said the new arrangement meant students who were completing or had completed the diploma with Aoraki would be able to start their degree in their home district.
