South Canterbury 박물관을 방문한 한국의 초등학생들

Our longest-distance school class yet! Ruth took a session on Friday with an exchange class from BongDong Elementary School in South Korea who visited us especially to find out more about local inventor Colin Murdoch, internationally famous for his work on disposable syringes and animal tranquiliser guns. BongDong Elementary School is partnered with Halswell Primary in Christchurch. The students were really appreciative of the programme which showed them items invented by Murdoch along with a short film about his life that the Museum Development Trust had produced.

한국의 봉동초등학교에서 온 학생들이 티마루의 South Canterbury Museum 에 방문하였다고 하네요. 

어린 학생들의 얼굴들이 오랜만에 티마루에서 보는 한국인들의 얼굴이라서 그런지 사진으로만 봐도 반갑기도 합니다. 

아마도 South Canterbury 박물관을 방문한 가장 먼 거리에 온 교환학생들이 아닌가싶은데, 뉴질랜드의 여러가지, 즐거운 기억들을 가지고 돌아갔으면 하네요.
