8월 17일 크라이스트처치 CPIT, 아이엘츠 시험

티마루에서 재학중인 12학년, 13학년 학생들은, 8월 17일 크라이스트처치 CPIT 에서 실시하는 

아이엘츠 시험을 볼 예정에 있습니다. 뉴질랜드 고등학교를 졸업하고, 뉴질랜드 대학을 진학할때 아이엘츠 점수는 

필요하지 않지만, 호주대학이나, 영국 대학을 지원할때에는 아이엘츠 시험점수가 필요하기때문에, 

이를 대비해서, 시험을 보게 되겠습니다. 


(호주대학지원시, 일반적으로 NCEA level 3 English에서 Merit 이상을 받게 되면, 영어점수 제출을 하지 않아도 되지만, 

시험결과에서 English 가 Merit을 나오지 않는다면, 진학자체가 어렵게 될 가능성도 있습니다. 

모든 학교에서 이를 요구하지는 않지만, 멜번대학교등 호주의 Top school 에서는 이를 요구하고 있습니다.)


현재 토요일 과외수업은 올해초부터 시작해서 IELTS를 중점으로 포커스를 맞추고 있습니다. 


아직 12, 13학년이 안되었지만, 자녀가 시험을 보려고 한다면, 아이엘츠수업 선생님이신 마리아선생님과  판단해서 

시험을 여부를 정할수 있도록 관심있으신 부모님께서는 연락주시면 되겠네요.

Exam registration

To sit an exam, you need to register with us and decide which date you would like to take the exam. 

Register in person

You can register in person for any exam date from Monday to Thursday 8am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am to 4pm at Admissions and Enrolments in the Rakaia Centre at our Madras Street Campus.

Bring with you:

  • $385 fee – Cash, credit card or cheque accepted.
  • two passport sized photos no more than six months old
  • your current passport.

Register by mail or email

If you are not able to register in person, you may register by mail or email.

Send the following:

  • Completed registration form, available from the IELTS website.
  • Photocopy of your passport
  • Two recent photos of yourself
  • A cheque made out to "CPIT" for $385.

Exam information

  • The exam is usually on a Saturday afternoon and will take about four hours.
  • Your interview may be scheduled any day of the week before the exam. If you live outside Christchurch, your interview will be scheduled on the morning of your exam day.
  • Letters containing information about exam day are sent out one week before your interview day. Please read these carefully. The letter will advise your interview time, tell you where to go and what to bring.
  • Carparking is available around the campus on the day.
