뉴질랜드 소도시- 티마루 주말 파머스 마켓(Timaru Farmers Market)

매주 일요일 티마루 캐롤라인베이에서는 티마루 파머스 마켓이라는 시장이 섭니다.

티마루가 포함된 South Canterbury지역에서만 생산이 되는 농산물들을 판매하는 일종의

지역사회 공동체입니다.

 

로니의 가장 친한 친구인 안젤라와 얼마전부터 티마루 시의원으로 일하기 시작한 해미쉬가 아마도

가장 애착을 가지고 있기도합니다. 소포트웨어 회사를 운영하고 있는 해미쉬가 웹사이트를 제작하고

이에 대한 소식도 정기적으로 올리고 있는듯합니다.

 

티마루에 계신 분들 시간이 되시면 매주 일요일 오전 9~12시까지 캐롤라인베이에서 열리는

파머스 마켓에서 신선한 채소, 그리고 베이를 걸으면서 산책도 할겸 한번 가보시는것은 어떨까요?

We run 9am-12:30pm EVERY Sunday rain or shine at the Entertainment Area in Caroline Bay.

For those who haven't been before, at the market you can find:

* Fresh seasonal fruit, veges, organic goodies such as honey and eggs, meat, value added product, fresh cut flowers and plants and heaps more. 

 

There is a range of gluten free products too.
* Local farmers & growers with whom you can talk to and find out everything you need to know about what you are buying.
* A community stall that you can sell your excess fruit or veg.
* A fantastic environment filled with happy community spirit that showcases local buskers, good coffee and a great place to catch up with friends
